However, I actually think this is a pretty accurate depiction of how VF2 actually looked on peoples' CRTs back in 1995. ![]() I wasn't referring to anything happening on the Saturn itself) (Edit/clarification: I mean the author of the video wound up softening the Saturn's output a bit during production of this video, perhaps because of the way his authoring software resized the video. Now, some may point out that this video is somewhat "kind" to the Saturn version since it seems to have applied some kind of softening filter to the Saturn version. The main difference, when viewing these games on modern displays, is that the Saturn's graphics are much jankier due to the lack of bilinear texture filtering like the arcade hardware. Watching this side-by-side, you can see all of the corners that were cut.
